MT-1 (Melanotan 1) – Research Peptide

MT-1, also known as Melanotan 1, is a synthetic analog of the naturally occurring alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). It has been widely studied for its potential to stimulate melanin production, contributing to increased skin pigmentation in UV-exposure models.

In research settings, MT-1 is also explored for its potential photoprotective properties, including reduced UV-induced skin damage and improved skin tone uniformity.
